Sarah DeSouza-Coelho is a Guyanese-Canadian Actor, Writer & Creative Producer based in Toronto. After attending York University’s prestigious Theatre program, she took her career into her own hands. Sarah began training with some of the city’s top acting coaches and landed an agent. She quickly began working on award-winning series (Haphead and Tinder the Web Series) and films (Moving Boxes and Brotherhood).


Sarah has been featured in 10+ national commercials, Mom’s Christmas Boyfriend (Lifetime), and has a rom-com set to premiere on a major streaming platform later this year. Sarah is currently in development with Colrize Productions and Shaftesbury for Back to One, a digital series she created that explores a 20-something first-generation Indo-Caribbean artist navigating cultural and industry expectations, in an effort to become network TV’s biggest star. Sarah is a champion of diversity in the industry. She strives to be a role model on-and-off screen for younger females in her community and hopes her work will do just that.
